Basic NET training consists of 25 hours of emergency response training, including a final written and practical exercise. It is available
free of charge to anyone who lives or works in Portland and is of at least 14 years or more in age. Attendance of all classes is required in order to complete the program. Classes are generally held one weeknight a week for 8 weeks. You can find more information about the NET program on this site. The course syllabus is as follows:
